    Description

Early Deed 1902 for Miller before state hood while still Indian Territory.  Later there are 2 Deed dated 1910 this property and another.  Then a burial plot
Deed  1939.  Interesting to research.    This was an early period before and after state hood as lands were sold or granted to Indians then sold or mortgaged then sold for debt.
While history shows that the Original Americans were granted land during the early 1900s to open up the Indian Territory for white settlement it also indicates that much of the awarded land was sold then to white land owners who put together huge land holdings as did the Mounts and Clements families.  These holding then became the source of huge cattle operations and very soon large oil fields.  This made the new owners very wealthy.
